Just got back from a trip to Paris, and all I wanted for my “souvenir” was a cute picnic basket. Looked all over and didn’t find one before we left, so I was determined to find one once we got home. Originally thought I wanted the full boxy picnic basket but decided to try 2 picnic tote styles for ease of storage and carrying (and maybe packing for a future trip to Paris? Haha). I got Promenade and the Parisian to compare. I decided to keep the Parisian and give the Promenade as a gift.
The Promenade came with the picnic supplies in the basket in cute little carrying bags. At first I thought it was a downside that the Parisian didn’t, but it ended up being fine. My local cheese shop sells some aesthetically pleasing and lightweight bamboo products that were perfect for a picnic (and much easier than transporting dirty dishes back home).
The Promenade basket bottom allows the bag to stand up easily without tipping, but the Parisian stood up great and we used it to set our bamboo charcuterie plate on like a little table base. (See photo, which doesn’t really show the basket, but does show our loaded charcuterie plate that it held up for our whole picnic.)
I think the Promenade would overall take up less space to pack in luggage to take along on a trip (say, to Paris, where it was hard to find a picnic basket) and it was fairly comfortable to carry. But you could stuff the Parisian before putting it in a suitcase (with a picnic blanket maybe?) and it would be space…

This is such a lovely picnic tote bag. Its nicely lined and I love that is has two sets of straps for carrying and absolutely love the tie at the top. Its very sturdy and deep. The basket weave is beautifully done.

I am looking forward to using this bag for my next monthly outing with my wife. It is a high quality and
stylish picnic bag that I would highly recommend to anybody as a gift or for personal use. My wife is so
happy with the bag, she loves the colors of the bag and most importantly how practical is to cary. Very
ergonomic with both an over the shoulder strap to carry like a tote bag and another strap to cary by hand.
Not to mention it is very light and is a very good price for its quality. If you are looking for a medium size
picnic bag and still want to look stylish while comfortable, then I would recommend you this bag!

Very cute Picnic Basket! I love the colors. Very Sturdy. Enough room to accommodate all my food and drinks. So many different things I could use it for. Great for travel. Very pleased with my picnic basket.

This picnic tote is literally SO cute. I love the woven material on the outside and the blue and white striped fabric on the inside. The inside of the tote is insulated to keep food &/or drinks cold. The tote holds a lot! Another great feature is that it has handles and longer shoulder straps. Makes carrying a lot easier. I cant wait to take the tote to the beach and on picnics.
