I am so excited to use the Manta Pop Up beach tent for the rest of this year! Its incredibly lightweight and literally pops open as soon as you take the strap off of it. Youll want to make sure you have stakes or something to weigh it down with once you are set up. Theres a back window that can be opened for more ventilation throughout the tent. Sand easily falls right off of the slinky nylon-like material. There was a bit of a learning curve to get it closed, but once you watch their YouTube video it really helps you get it down. Comes with storage bag and takes up barely any space in your trunk. Myself, my husband and my two kids (7,10) were all able to comfortably fit inside the tent together.

I was always on the hunt for beach accessories and specifically a tent or canopy of some kind. I found the Oniva Manta pop up beach tent and had to give it a try. I am happy with my decision. I needed something easy, quick, and simple to put up. I needed something stress free to break down. The Manta tent met my standards. Durable and waterproof material. Even has a cute window peek a boo screen on the closed in wall. Took me a you tube video to figure out how to deconstruct. The instructions provided were kind of basic for easy understanding. The only down side is the foundation tie downs. I had to be cautious of too much wind. Had to make sure it was structurally tied down tight at the beach and the rods provided were not durable for certain strengths of wind.

I love this pop up tent...but I hate folding it up to put away! Its very easy to open, you literally unfold it and it pops right into place. Its perfect for any outdoor occasion-picnics, beaches, parks...Im actually using it in my yard to allow me to lay out but be protected from golf balls hitting me (I live on a golf course). It makes a great barrier for sand, wet grass, etc. I like the included "window" you can zip open or closed. And its extremely lightweight -easy to carry with you. But folding this thing to put away is a nightmare! It takes a lot of practice to learn how to fold. If you can figure out how to fold it, youre gonna love it!

Instructions video doesn't show how to use tie down cords for a windy beach day. Please help!

Really sorry to hear you're having trouble with your Manta - you're not alone! While it is a great little pop-up beach tent - we know it can be full of frustrations. For the tie-down - please take one end of the strings and attach it to the spikes. The other end of the strings then connects to the loops on the top of the tent. Then anchor in the sand. We've found that it doesn’t tend to work in loose sand... the anchor spikes need to be placed in a bit more dense sand to be secure.
Our only other suggestion is that it's best to try to angle the opening so that it doesn't catch the full wind and make the tent become a parachute. Challenging at times we know...
We're hoping that helps you a little bit. If you're still having issues, please reach out to our Customer Service team and we'll see if we can work on other solutions with you.
Enjoy the beach! Hopefully, you'll have some fun memories too!

The Picnic Time Family - AAsrelaReviewingManta Portable Beach TentI recommend this productRated 4 out of 5 stars1 year agoVery useful
Honestly, I loved this tent. It was amazing to have somewhere for my infant son to rest while we were at the beach. It also felt more private, since I couldnt see the people behind me. It was nice. My husband had a bit of trouble putting it back in the carrier, but after watching the Instructional video a couple of times he did it without problem. I would give this five stars, but the metal zipper bit came off of the track while zipping the carrier back up. I may be able to fix it, and it doesnt hinder my use of the tent, but it is inconvenient.
