Happy Valentine’s (Or Whatever)

When the available end of year holidays just couldn’t suffice for everybody, they had to invent Festivus (for the rest of us). But when it comes to Valentine’s, there are already a bunch of alternatives. There’s Gal-entine’s and there’s Bro-entine’s, of course – in Finland, February 14th is just Ystävänpäivä or “Friendship Day.” No matter how you choose to celebrate (or avoid) Valentine’s, there is just one thing that ain’t nobody getting:

A reservation.

Sorry, y’all. If you are reading this and you are still making your plans, that romantic bistro table for two is not happening. But you know what is happening? What not even the very snootiest and French-est hostess can turn you away from? You know it, we know it – we barely even need to say it:

A picnic!

…and yes, we know it’s February. We are a sunny SoCal brand, but we empathize with all the folks enjoying snowy weather.
